Being a proud owner of a BMW I know they offer the best cars and are a very serious car industry that believes in top quality customer service. The BMW group is one of Germany’s largest industrial companies and can be considered one of the most successful car and motorcycle manufactures in the world. BMW has 3 of the strongest brands in the automotive industry with production of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce. They adapted to a view of “customer service = growth driver” as the main principle of Company growth (BMW company). In 2008 the company has accumulated more than 14 million BMW automobiles on the road. This can be recognized as 14 million service customers. For this exact reason BMW launched global initiatives to exploit huge sales. The Potential of the service and business has enabled this company to reach out entirely to a new group of customers (BMW company). Customer focus has become the heart of all BMW sales and marketing activities. BMW focused on demographics in many parts of the world to help market growth and they have become very successful because of such initiatives taken.

Every company that exists has the ability to make changes to make themselves better and more successful. BMW has been serving customers with the best quality products for over 100 years thus they have many customer who are loyal to them. However one particular part I would change if I was CEO is the amount of interest they give to loyal customers. Many customers who have been with BMW for many years do not get incentives like the new customers. A loyal customer has a better lifetime value then a new customers so it’s important not to forget this part of managing a business especially when there is a lot of competition. If loyal customers feel they aren’t getting recognized enough this could potentially cause them to switch to a different brand or service. I think BMW has a very strong team and many employees with a creative mindset in innovation and they are always striving to become better.
