purposes like water parks, water skiing, swimming pools…etc., running waters from showers, faucets, and leakages. We waste billions of gallons of water each year. While it is true that 2/3 of our planet earth is composed of water, only 2% is drinkable right away. Think about it. Due to fallacy about the availability of the resource, a complete neglect for its conservation and widespread misuse, water pollution and overpopulation, water will become our most precious and wasted resource, and forsooth will be the next meager resource countries will fight over. By the year 2030, researchers said that about 47% of the world’s population will be living in areas with severe water stress, making it one of the greatest human development challenges of the century.
It is not too late to make changes. Everyone should have their ways to help conserve water. There are a number of ways to save water, and they all start with you.
There are copious trouble-free ways on how to save our precious water. Just I’d said leaking faucets contributes to a waste of many gallons per year. If you discovered that a faucet leaks, call a plumber immediately to fix it, this easy way saves amounts of gallons of water. When washing the dishes or brushing your teeth, everyone should avoid letting the tap water run, this again, will save thousands of gallons of water. Use the washing machine if the load is full, in that way, we can save up to 1000 gallons of water per month. Use water efficient shower heads, it is inexpensive, easy to install, and can save up to 750 gallons of water per month.
Believe that if everyone here in this world is sentient that water is the most precious resource here on earth, everyone will increase their awareness on saving water. Doing simple things just I’ve said before, will contribute much in saving amounts of water.
