Rebecca Coons, Aquafina is the only water bottle company that have been restricted to cut PET use in half, which explained how much the amount of PET has been using since. That’s why the consumer should put some thoughts about the labels on the the plastic bottles, I have been trying to avoid buying those bottles or the bottles that has decent amount of PET which is safe for me maybe. The water bottles bring to us some sickness, but they also costs us hundreds more than the tap water, which we basically can get it in our kitchen.

Water bottles may be more cleaner than tap water, but definitely not cheaper. Consumers fundamentally waste their money and resources to purchase water bottles, then do they think that water bottles are better and safer than tap water when they can get them in their kitchen. In the film, Ms. Quintero describe that 1.5 million barrels oil per year, which is enough to fuel 100,000 cars a year, which are required to satisfy water bottles consumption and demand in United States. A massive amount of energy is waste transporting water bottles when they already have access to clean from our kitchen. Some companies such as Nestle company put tap water and market it as fresh water when they actually get it from unknown locations which aren’t labelled on the bottled. The water bottled should be banned or be put at the bottom of the shelfs to keep away from the consumers. Water bottles is expensive when you compare it to the cost per gallon of tap water. Most of the water bottles in the United States are tap water that the companies put it the plastic and sold at huge profit. So pretty much what the consumers doing is buying the same water that they could get at their houses for free. If they chose between tap water and bottled water, tap water would be definitely better more economical and healthier choice

It seems there is impossible solution to this issue. The water bottles not only from the water itself causes many health problems, the plastic bottles also cause the long term effect on our body and cost hundred more than the tap water. To prevent the water consumption increases that water bottles should be banned and regulated with more taxes because the problems that they give us. Also, we should be concerned about the money that we spend to buy water bottles, are they worth that much of money? In most of the vending machines, a water bottles cost at least $1.25 while a gallon of tap water only 20 cents. Around the globe, billion people don’t have access clean water. The water bottles not simply affecting the consumers they are also affecting the environment. After we’ve done drinking it, only one out of fours bottles are actually recycles, most of them are in oceans or somewhere in other countries. However, many countries spend money to improve on the bottles throw out. We could save the expense we use on the water bottles to help those people to have an access clean water, improve our water system, or help those countries get rid of those bottles fulfilled their
