it can be harmful to an inexperienced society.

Motorcycles would be an object that is as important as the others. Yes, you would be mobile instead of walking on foot. But, it probably would take them a while to figure out how to ride it. One must also take into consideration, that the motorcycle consumes gas; therefore, by accelerating too quickly or riding for a long amount of time; the gas would decrease. This in turn, results in the motorcycle being useless because there is no gas to fill up the motorcycle. The relationships between the members may increase, because they might help and teach each other how to ride the motorcycle, instead of teaching themselves. I feel that this would benefit the society because after riding this motorcycle could encourage them to invent something along the lines of an automated vehicle with wheels to help them move quicker, instead of walking on foot. Therefore, I feel that this would benefit society.

A small arsenal of guns would definitely create violence for a short amount of time. The violence wouldn’t be just human to human, but also human to animals for hunting. They wouldn’t know how to handle again, therefore; a lot of accidents would occur. Once they figure out how to use them, it would be a great advantage for food and protection. I think the social interactions between the members of a society would have both a positive and negative effect. The positive side is that they can hunt for food by using bullets instead of spears, which is a lot easier to hunt for food. However, there is also a negative effect which comes into play. There might be a lot of unfortunate accidents while trying to figure out how to use the gun, causing injuries and some deaths. Considering the fact of the bullets running out, by having these guns – could trigger more violence with their own defense mechanisms with spears and such. All in all, “guns don’t kill people, people kill people.”

As you can see, even though these are modern day devices, the items can not permanently change society because of their lack of resources. In the long run, each object listed can increase social interactions and relationships, which may or may not benefit their society.
