This article provides an in-depth analysis of the issues affected by the women and children in the war prominent areas, where the rape related cases are higher. When I went through this article I personally felt so bad about the situations and the issues that are faced by the children and women in these countries. It is really sad to know that based on an old amendment the U.S. government denies the rights of the vulnerable population such as women and girls to undergo the abortion services. I personally felt that it is the responsibility of the Obama government to take necessary steps to solve this issue in an effective manner by resolving the conflicts related with the Helms Amendment. It is also our responsibility to make sure that the problems of these vulnerable population are resolved in a good manner.
To conclude it is evident that the situation of women and girls in the war zone area is really pathetic. It is essential to withdraw the unwarranted ban of the U.S. government on funding war related abortions. They have to reconsider the Helms Amendment that can save the lives of many women and girls those who are molested and raped in the war areas.
