The Power of Forgiveness

Painful things happened, some of which were accidents, and some were intentional. Whatever it is, we need to open our minds to another level of context. Know that people forgave you and hold no bad feelings for you are the best things that a person could feel. Forgiveness, it brings us happiness and the ability to move on without bittersweet. Our grudges will only affect the relationship with the person and not hurt the other person in any way. From my discussion, we can see that forgiveness is the ability to gives us a sense of freedom and makes us suffer less and feel lesser pain and misery. Whatever decision we come to about action in daily life, in the end, forgiveness is a path to peace and a powerful and important component of love. Forgiveness is central to ethics because maintaining good relationships with others is, or should be, the main focus of our lives. We should practice forgiveness on a regular basis because it is nearly impossible to maintain relationship without practicing it. And Griswold notes a key feature of ethics positively valuing forgiveness. “Forgiveness is more appropriate to an outlook that emphasizes the notion of a common an irremediably finite and fallible human nature, and this highlights the virtues that improve as well as reconcile” (Griswold, C. 2007 )
