Q1 - Is it possible for someone to be unmotivated or is all behaviour motivated?
Answer:
Motivation is a process that starts with a psychological or psychological deficiency or need that activates a behavior or a drive that is aimed at a goal.
People feel unhappy not only when they receive less than what they consider they deserve, but also when they receive more than what they consider they deserve. When an employee receives more than what he/she considers I fair, they begin to wonder whether others too are receiving more than what they deserve. If it is indeed the case the next question that comes to their mind is compared to what they are getting, whether the others are receiving much more than what they deserve.
Yes ,it is possible for someone to be unmotivated. There are different situations arise Peoples motivations are vary from the situation to situation & also from person to person. If the organisation want to minimize the number of the employee in the organization at a time & set off employee based on their bad performance than one can be motivated to do better to continue the job, one can also be unmotivated here to think about their job uncertainty.
Same thing can be happened in case of taking challenges. Anyone can be motivated if they can work more, if the management is decentralized & give some responsibilities to the employee , he will take it as challenge and will be motivated. On the other hand, who is reluctant to take challenges , he will consider it extra burden and will be unmotivated.
All behaviour is not motivated. Only those kinds of behaviour is motivated which aims at the organisation goals. The employee should behave accordingly. Sometimes actual behaviour is not motivated . Such as, a salesperson should present himself always with a patience and in cheerful mind. But after all he is a men , his mother may be sick, there may be problem with his family,he will be sad. But he cannot express his sadness in his appearance. He cannot behave roughly with his customers for his problem. This kind of behaviour is not motivated.
Peoples may be motivated or may be unmotivated . Everything can be happened. Peoples work for achieving the organisation goal. As long as their behaviour is to achieve the organisation goal it is motivated otherwise it is unmotivated sometimes compelled to behave accordingly. Peoples motivation depends on their attitude of the organisation . in the same situation one can be motivated other can be unmotivated. It is the subconscious process.
But sometimes intentionally employee may be unmotivated such as if the management of the organisation are friendly and willing to know the employee’s problem, hear their problems with patience & try to solve them. At first a few employee will come to the manager but after few days all employees will try to speak with manager to solve their problem. That will hamper the discipline of the organisation and the manager’s valuable time . That time to unmotivate the employees manager intentionally may stop to hear the employees.
Someone motivation is situational. It is possible for someone to be unmotivated and all behaviour is not motivated.
