it is said that Animalandia Republic existed since 1300s but does not exist certainty of the date of when was founded Animalandia Republic.

many historians told that a woman that loved the flora and fauna came to place where had many vegetation and a lot of animals. she decided to live there because she considered the best company was the animals. her name was Cloe and she decided to call the place "Animalandia Republic" that means in spanish "republica de seres dotados de respiración o de soplo vital".

years later she began to build some places and settle Animalandia. the Cloe objective was to create many places attractives for the people and promote the care for the flora and fauna.

And finally Animalandia Republic is became the country most important and the most famous country for the Animalista people.

CUSTOMS

The October 4th is the date most important in Animalandia Republic and also on a international level. in this date thousand of people visit the country with their pets to celebrate the act of blessing of the animals and so to remember to San Francisco De Asis that he is the patron saint of the animals.

Another important event is the animals carnival that is celebrated in October and thousand of floats parade by the streets. those floats are allusive to the animals and also there are many troupes that they parade in this carnival.

the cuisine of the Animalandia Republic is very particular the people of the this country is vegetarian because obviously they don't eat what they love. it is curious because they have a motto that in spanish said "Aunque todos los lobos y buitres de la tierra se unieran para convencerme de las ventajas de la carne, no por ello dejaría de verlo como un crimen”

Some of the vegetarian dishes are Spaghetti with peanut and sesame sauce or Quinoa Salad or Falafel - chickpea croquettes among others.
