The Plastics were only alphas because of what they show to society. Regina is attractive and wealthy she still has issues within her life as well as secrets she doesn’t want people to know because they will percieve her to be weak. In all reality everyone has things that they are personally going through in life and that is ok, but Regina chooses to mask that. Regina understands the fears and insecurities of others which gave her the power to control not only her friends and family but the principles and teachers of North Shore high school.

The feud between Regina and Cady started when Cady showed interest in her ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels. Gretchen had warned Cady that liking Aaron Samuels was not allowed in girl would, it was against the rules of feminism Gretchen explained, but Gretchen assured to Cady that she wouldn’t let Regina find out but of course Gretchen being a mean girl and part of the Plastics she told Regina. Regina was bothered by the news of Cady liking Aaron and Regina already saw Cady as a threat so Regina had to play sneaky and dirty. Regina acted like she was ok with Aaron and Cady talking. Regina even insisted that she would talk to Aaron for Cady of course Regina had an evil motive. While at a Halloween party Regina approaches Aaron in front of Cady and instead of being nice and telling Aaron that Cady is a nice girl and that he should give her a chance she chooses to start telling Aaron that Cady is weirdly obsessed with him and that she being Regina wants Aaron back, ending in them making out with each other in front of Cady. Cady instantly was so upset, she couldn’t believe Regina would do such a thing. Cady didn’t know what else to do but to turn to her only true friends Janis and Damien.
