- the most awaited EXIT sign. Ivy tripped - Rose shone the light to see what she tripped over.

A figure composed of 206 bones. Sitting in the corner of the room was a body. The short, pale, tiny structure seemed familiar. Rose somehow convinced her hand to shine the light further up the body. Blood covered the abdomen and beneath it, a slit; a stab. His eyes stared directly at her, the little boy in front of them in the line! The air was filled with the metallic smell of blood. CLICK. The lights went on.

“Don’t you little brats understand the meaning of staff only?”, shouted Zebo.

The clown. RUN. Rose’s feet were planted on the ground. After reassuring everyone that it was all part of the act, Freddy laughed, patting her back. But it wasn’t. Rose’s feet awoke; grabbing the others she ran out - back into the haunted house. The ride was ongoing, but no matter how many actors frightened them - she ran for her life…

Rose gasped for air. They escaped. Panicking after she couldn’t find her mum - Rose needed to tell someone. She wasn’t leaving until I knew who harmed the child. Freddy pulled out his phone and the headlines read ‘killer clowns on the loose’. It stated no one should dress as a clown on halloween or else… If no citizen was wearing a clown outfit, then only real, murderous clowns would show up in character.

Thoughts were rushing through Rose’s head. She bumped into someone. Con. They told him EVERYTHING. They began with his co-worker. ‘It’ could have been him. He seemed so engrossed in that novel. While he was occupied reading - they stealthy flicked through his phone and backpack. Nothing - he came out clean.

Walking around the haunted house, they saw Zebo again. Rose confronted him about the suspicious actions earlier. He explained the knife was to cut a doughnut and the ‘blood’ was jam. Questioning the sack, Zebo opened the sack revealing potato peels from the cafeteria’s hot chips.

The parents - they had to be somewhere. While searching for them, they past a gift shop. A shop selling masks and souvenirs...including a clown wig. In the midst of searching, they lost Con.

Damien pointed something out. When the clown enclosed them in the room, he smiled. A small bump on his was face painted over. Could it have been a mole? It had to be someone who left the scene…still this wasn’t enough. Trying to contact Con, Rose got out her phone and googled ‘Con Lerkwill’ but autocorrect changed it into...Killer Clown.
