will be allowed to give his insight and voice his opinions regarding the welfare of the citizens of Great Britain. He will permanently reside with Cordelia and France until he passes away; he shall visit Regan and Goneril periodically.

These are all equal and fair ways of splitting up the land with everyone’s best interests in mind. “Of all these bounds, even from this line to this, with shadowy forests and with champains rich and with plenty rivers and wide skirted meast. We make thee lady: to thine and Albany’s issues. Be this perpetual.” (act 1, scene 1). “No less in space, validity and pleasure.” (act 1, scene 1). These quotations portray King Lear’s willingness to split up the country into equal portions for his daughters. He also claims that Cordelia was his favourite daughter; for this reason, he would permanently reside with her while also visiting his other daughters time to time.

Article 2: Financial Matters

2.1: Division of Finances

a) All three Royal Daughters are given a quarter of the royal riches giving King Lear of Great Britain a quarter as well.

b) The Royal Daughters will take any royal jewellery and gold as long it is evenly distributed and in the case of conflict, the Royal Daughters will go to court to settle the conflicts. Any jewellery or gold given as a gift will belong to whichever daughter it was gifted too.

c) Each Royal Daughter has a duty to help their family member in their time of need with the finances they have; the daughters are allowed to ask for a loan from their siblings. The money shall be returned on a date that is mutually agreed on.

2.2: In Return

a) King Lear will get a quarter of each daughter’s profit from their estate until he passes

b) King Lear will be allowed to have access to the profits and be able to take a loan whenever he needs to
