1. Summarize the plot.

- New Zealand, open ocean, the first born keeps going with the tradition, she wants to be the leader of the tribe but her grandfather is against it. She stays strong and she doesn't listens to Koro when he tolds her that she is not allowed to be together with the boys- she is learning everything by looking at the small children how her grandfather teach them how to become a good leader.

- Pai main character, She lives with her grandfather, her mother and her twin brother died when she was born, no relationship between her and the father.
