though it wouldn’t be safe for her kids just because she is a lesbian women. Lesbian women are capable of raising their children just like any other women. Just because they are gay doesn’t mean that they have bad intentions or plan or trying to persuade their child to live the same lifestyle as them. My group agreed with me that the true identity was very judgemental and ignorant just because a women is gay doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know how to raise her children correctly. Stereotypes are a very big thing and most of the time not true it’s just a person’s judgement before getting to know a person or understanding who they are and their reasoning for doing what they do. In conclusion based off the activity that was done in class, I learned a lot about stereotyping and also all of the judgemental things that lesbian women have to deal with on the daily basis. In my opinion it isn’t right and you shouldn’t just go around judging someone that you don’t even know just because you don’t understand their actions or well being. Lesbian women should get treated with the same respect as a straight woman does. People should not feel that just because a woman is lesbian they can’t do the same thing as a straight women. However the first thing that comes to mind for a person when they know the female is lesbian is that she has had a bad experience with males. All women should get treated respectfully no matter what their choice of relations is.
