A person has to be open minded who want to learn a lot, interested in corporate finance, interested in fast paced work environment, always done well in finance or accounting classes, and want to work with smart and motivated people. It’s not easy but the thrill and joy of it is what causes people to want it so bad. Great bankers love the thrill of the hunt. Every day is a new deal, a new pitch, a new adventure. Entering the competitive world of high finance has so many clear advantage such as great pay, high profile deals and phenomenal training. Is such a high risk too and those who love to take risks, it is for them. So many people argue that it is a stressful job and risky job so not everyone becomes filthy rich because of and there is a higher chance you could go broke
However, it’s definitely not for the faint hearted. Intense pressure to get the deal done, and long business hours, means that personal time is often sacrificed. And while tremendous rewards await those that reach the top of the profession, it’s a very steep climb to get there. Just like I mentioned before, people’s perspectives vary and this is thrill to some people. If a person enjoys all those things others things are a problem, are they really a problem to that person? Absolutely not, which mean that person would do a great job at it because he’s/she is enjoying the thrill of it.
