The products of Porsche should improve engine to reduce fuel consumption, and make the shape of car more beautiful. Improve the production process to be more efficient.

Price should be decrease a little, allowing all middle-class people can accept.

Except the official shop, authorized stores and auto show, also should include selling online, TV shopping and so on.

Promotion

Strengthen efforts to publicize, Participate or organize various activities to raise the popularity, and improve the ability of produce car.

- Conclusions and Recommendations

Obviously, the marketing mix of Porsche has a great marketing method to give a well market to the product of Porsche. But the potential markets which are face to the product of Porsche is still very great. The competitors of Porsche, like the Ferrari is still very strong, it makes the market of Porsche product unstable. If the marketing mix of Porsche can improve strengths, solve weaknesses, not miss any opportunity and eliminate potential threats, it will make the situation of Porsche be better, transcend the competitors of Porsche, such as Ferrari. Also can make the product of Porsche more footholds in the markets. So I think improve the level of technology is the most important affair to do now for Porsche. Such as simplify the production process, reduce fuel consumption, design more popularization sedan, absorb the essence of Volkswagen and so on.

Me: Nice to meet you! Mr. Leo. I am senior high school student, I am doing a report which is about Porsche. I want to ask you some questions to make me know the SWOT of Porsche! Can I?

L: Yes of course, fine to help you.

M: Thanks! So, what are the strengths of Porsche?

L: First, we produce the high-end cars, but our high-end cars are cheaper than other same level high-end cars of other enterprises which are also produce the high-end cars. Most of people can accept the price of our high-end cars. So we can sell more cars than the other car enterprises like the Ferrari. Second, our enterprise, Porsche, has a long history. It means we had develop since a long time, so our ability of product research and development innovation are strong. Also the products of Porsche are diversification, can satisfy to different kinds of customers.

M: Okay! What are the weaknesses of Porsche?

L: Actually, some things of our products are also be traditionally. For example, the traditional model of high fuel consumption has not improved.

M: So what are the opportunities of Porsche?

L: Since 2005, Volkswagen Company had takeover Porsche. I think It is a new change for Porsche. Then, we always follow with fashion, we never produce a car which is out style, so I think fashion trend is a opportunity for us. Also Chinese markets are pretty important to us, the products of Porsche are more and more popular in China.

M: Great. And what are the threats of Porsche?

L: More and more competitors are appearing in our eye side, and they influence our status in markets, like the Ferrari. Also, Porsche is not a only popular car enterprise in China or in the world. And American government increase average fuel economy standards, it is a bad news for us.

M: Then, what are the place that Porsche sales the products?

R: May be same with other enterprise, official shops, authorized stores, and auto show. May be also have other place.

R: I think is the publicize, marketing skills and improve the level of technology. In my opinion, if Porsche can handle these three affairs, Porsche will be more and more better, in everywhere.
