In summary, this paper has discussed how leadership influence on an organisation’s internal environment through looking at Jeff Bezos leadership at Amazon. It has been established that Bezos utilises transformational leadership which has facilitated effective and efficient organisational change throughout the years. For example, through giving organisational members the autonomy to make decisions, the organisation has been able to respond to new market changes easily and conveniently. In other words leadership influences an organisation’s internal environment through determining how things are done in an organisation to respond to external market needs. It has been also established a single leadership approach is not effective in all situations. To this end, organisational leaders should be able to utilise different leadership approaches and styles to suit their organisation needs at different times.
