Managers of this category are known to have the ability of balancing work and maintaining good interpersonal relationships with work force. They focus on people as well as the requisite outputs without compromising on morale.

With reference to the currencies introduced by Cohen and Bradford, Halstead used the following currencies (Refer exhibit 6). The encouraged her subordinates to recognize their potentials, advance their abilities and to repair reputations through excellence. She inspired them with a strong morale and unbeatable vision. She informed her subordinates about the progresses and decelerations their work faced with transparency. This promoted cooperation and coalition in her team.

The change simulation edifies methods of influencing subordinates without using authority. Brigadier Halstead’s art of influencing outlines Kotter’s eight steps of adopting a change.
