The important principle of terminating projects and conducting post project appraisal are describing below.
- Each and every project need to come to the people as an order.
- Each person who is normally available to hold up for the proposed project must be informs its slam in order that they can return all resources.
- Project proceedings must be kept hold for helping out with riview.
Process Description: Ensure all the products of the project is approved and provided to the customer. Confirm that all the deliver product of the project is according to the customer specification. And also confirm that operational and maintenance environment are all in the place.
These elements are important in terminating projects. Metro Cammell needs to terminate project sometimes. And also post project appraisal is conducted by the company to ensure success. So these elements will help in this regard (Indelicato).

2.1 Identify the most appropriate organizational structure, roles and responsibilities of participants within a project.
Organizational Structure of participating within a project:
There should be a Unit Management for each project taken by any organization. Then there will be a project management group by which the project will be done and a project director who will direct the work activities among the team member. Project director will be three kind of
- Technical Architect
- Application Architect
- Development manager.
Development manager will be again three types of. They are application test manager, conversional manager and the test manager.
Roles and responsibilities:
Roles of the participants and responsibilities within a project are described below:
Develop and maintain all the required documents regularly. Then finalize all the documents which are related to the project. Taking care of all the changes inside the project team. The project changes might be structural or any other kind of. These must be maintained with the project cost and allocations. Director of the project is wholly responsible for the success of the project. The project managers are responsible for the daily activities of the business. And lastly team members of the project are responsible for the works. They should do it timely and with specific schedule with the given budget.
So in the given scenario Metro Cammell is introducing new project program. There the structure of the project should be accurate. And the entire participant should works efficiently to fulfill the project objectives (Knutson).
2.2 Control and co-ordinate a project.
Controlling a project:
In every project set by the organization always go through some types of trouble. So, for those monitoring and controlling activities is required sometimes. Controlling is the process by which the manager of the project riview the performance of the project. Find fault and revise them. Thus the manager ensures the project objectives by those controlling activities. As projects are always unique in nature, there must be an active controlling system. Habits are not permanently established before everything in the project changes. Controlling in a project can be defined as a project management function which generally does comparing the actual performance with the set goal. And then take corrective actions. Project control has a direct correlation with the project success. There is some impact of project control in the project.

Coordinating a project:
Co-ordination is the system by which people of the project are organized so that they can work together to achieve the goal and objectives. Coordination can be defined as the way to bring all the parts of the project to a same place so that all can work efficiently.
