CASE A MIDSIZE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY(JENNIFER CHILDS)-(CLEMENT&GIDO)
1.(Clement & Gido).. states that an RFP is a document that defines the project s requirements. It must include a proposed approach ,schedule, and budget for meeting the project requirements and accomplishing the project scope .It must be comprehensive enough for the project team to prepare an intelligent response.
Jennifer ‘s RFP is not sufficient enough for it lacks a lot of infor that an RFP should have according to the definition. An RFP should contain
- project objective
- it must provide statement of work
- customer requirements
- it should state the deliverables the customers expect the contractor to provide
- it should state the acceptance criteria
- it should list any customer supplied items
- Schedule for completion of the work
- Evaluation criteria for the projects
- Due date for submitting the project reports.
- Etc…. Therefore
There is a lot of missing information on her RFP thertefore its not sufficient enough and will strain the managers when they are trying to prepare their proposals.

This will increase plant capacity and reduce cost
Operations manager s proposal
Jeff Matthews responsible for computors and IT believes the system is outdated, the old computors cant hold the volumes of the transactions now. He believes new computors and systems will increase cash flow by producing invoices in time
Manager of marketing ‘s proposal
Joe Sanchez wants a large budget to hire more sales representatives in additional countries. But he did not receive an RFP.
He is waiting on the disagreements of the 3 managers to get funds.
