Input based case is the variety of reasoning in which the numbers are to be arranged in ascending or descending order in number of steps. This variety is again very common in bank PO entrance exams.

The case of analytical reasoning was based on 7 students who liked a particular color and a particular sport. This was an easy case of matching model and had to be attempted.

Other 15 questions were based on critical reasoning, in which varieties like Inference, judgment, cause-effect, conclusions etc were given.

From this section an overall attempt of 14-15 questions should be considered as good attempt.

The small passages were on mobile industry, Intellectual property rights, Kerosene subsidy, recession and India vs West. Synonym and antonym were of a new variety wherein the option that contains either the two similar or the two dissimilar words has to be chosen as the answer. In concept of sentences, three sentences were given followed by three concepts, the one depicting all the three well has to be chosen. Similarly, in the concept deviating from main idea, four sentences were given, three of them converge on the same idea, and one deviates from the idea that has to be chosen as the answer.

An attempt of 12-15 with good accuracy would be a fair attempt.

The section was easy as there were 2 case based questions which could easily be solved in 5 minutes each and 5 minutes for 5 Data sufficiency questions out of which 3 could easily be done. From the other 15 questions, 7 could easily be done in the given time limit.

The case of permutations was based on arranging the books on different subjects together or separately and so on. It was a very common and traditional variety of easy questions on permutations.

The case of geometry was based on following figure.

The value of half the base of the triangle was given and area of triangle, side and area of square etc were asked. With basic knowledge of geometry this case could have been easily solved. It was a good case to attempt as there were 5 questions associated with it.

From this section also, 17-18 questions could have been attempted easily in the given time limit of 30 minutes.

Overall cutoffs

An attempt of 100+ questions with good accuracy can easily fetch 99+ percentile.
