Since the company is encouraging well experienced people to be leaders, employees are more motivated to do a good job and they follow and love the supervising leaders born among them rather than someone from out coming to the role of controlling them.

Rolex Mudalali walks around the work floor each morning, sharing few words with people he meets since he knows that employers must initiate the communication as a show of faith to their employees and that will result motivate the employees of the organization. He won the hearts of his employees and his characteristics made the employees motivated to achieve the goals and objectives what Rolex Mudalali is desired. Therefore, we can identify him as a leader with a vision as well as a good leader who can ignite / motivate his employees to produce the result he expected.

- Paternalistic Style : The way a paternalistic leader works is by acting as a father figure by taking care of their subordinates as a parent would. In this style of leadership the leader supplies complete concern for his followers or workers. In return he receives the complete trust and loyalty of his people. Workers under this style of leader are expected to become totally committed to what the leader believes and will not strive off and work independently. The relationship between these co-workers and leader are extremely solid. The workers are expected to stay with a company for a longer period of time because of the loyalty and trust. Not only do they treat each other like family inside the work force, but outside too. These workers are able to go to each other with any problems they have regarding something because they believe in what they say is going to truly help them.

This is basically the main style of leadership that Rolex mudalali follows. During his entire business life, we can notice that he considered his employees as the best asset that he possesses and tried to do the maximum for their welfare and their families.

- Distribution of dry ration pack for each employee and 03 months’ salary bonus has made very positive impact and not only the employees but won the hearts of their family members as well towards the organization.

Main drawbacks of the process

- However, since there is no clear and defined Vision and set objectives, there could be draw backs where the full potential of the employees has not utilized to maximize the positive results which can be achieved.

- Since there is no significant decision making authorities as no power is delegated legitimately, this may make hinder sometimes to proceed with the situational requirements as always have to seek the opinion of Rolex Mudalali as it seems the decision making is centralized towards him though the seniors act as supervisors.

- In an organization, it could not expect that all the employees contribute equally towards achieving its set objectives. Despite considering the contribution, giving an equal bonus to the entire staff could be a de-motivational factor to the employees giving their best to the organization. Since there is no proper method of identifying the best employee, that also could be lead to such situations which discourage the employees who serve satisfying all their expected objectives as well as having positive behavioral aspects which is expected by the organization.

Therefore, it could be identified non availability of a proper scientific performance evaluation system which could use as a more effective tool in decision making in strategic decisions such as policy making, establishing corporate plans for the organization as well as HR, and administrative and operational activities such as Job design / Analysis, compensation and reward management etc.

- Changing the culture of not having professional managers towards, appoint his children as directors of company and sudden retirement of Rolex mudalali from the business activities are sudden decisions. Followed by which

When we consider the above decisions made, it is clearly noted that the autocratic leadership was one main ingredient in the rise of the business while also being the main reason for the downfall of the business empire of Rolex mudalali.
