The airport provide many retail and food outlets inside of the airport such as Boots, WHS smith, Frankie & Benny’s, Burger King, etc. The airport also provides free Wi-Fi and an escape lounge (you have to pay for the escape lounge experience).
They provide all facilities to please all of their customers. They have escalators, lifts and stairs so people can gain access to different places in the airport. There is also a prayer room located in the airport for the religious customers.
The EMA staff are calm and polite so they deal with complaints easily. The security are always aware of what is going on throughout the airport and alert everyone if there are any concerns or worries with someone or something which involves danger to the building, the customers and the staff at EMA .
The airport have many different ways of transportation for their customers. They have buses which travel all around the East midlands Airport area (Derby, Leicester, and Nottingham). The bus stops are right outside of the building which is very convenient. They also have taxi companies waiting outside for people and families and also have facilities indoors where you can order your choice of Taxi Company. There is also four hire-a-care services where you can travel home too.
EMA have a passenger service desk located in the checking in hall. This is where you can ask for help getting on to your plane by the staff at the airport. Their services include providing wheelchairs, providing an escort to their plane if they are deaf or blind, or advice regarding the company they are flying with; e.g. Jet2, Ryanair, British airways etc.
