3. CONFUSSION – “What it means to surrender?”

- baket nga ba ako mgsusurrender? Para kanino at para saan?

- sacrificing your life or suffering in order to change what needs to be changed. God often calls surrendered people to do His battle on His behalf.

- Surrendering is best demonstrated in Obedience and Trust.

- Peter – sa kanyang pangingisda, sabe ng Panginoon, sige ihulog mong muli yung lambat mo. Pero sabe ni Peter db, ilang beses na nyang hinulog yung lambat pero wala pa din syang nahuhuling isda, pero dahil sa sinabe ng Panginoon, gagawin nya. That is a sign of OBEDINCE.

- Abraham – followed God’s leading without knowing where it would take him.

- Mary – expected a miracle without knowing how.

- Hannah – waited for God’s perfect timing without knowing when.

- Joseph – trusted God’s purpose without knowing why circumstances happened the way they did.

- each of these people are fully surrendered to God. Kaya sila po yung pinag katiwalaan ng Panginoon sa isang malaking mission o plano para mafulfill yung purpose ng Lord sa bawat buhay nila. Sumunod sila at nagtiwala without knowing where, when, or how God will work in their lives, even if it doesn’t make sense.

Kumbaga, sa mundo po kapag sumurrender ka, meaning talo ka na or tapos na yung laban. Pero sa Panginoon, once na sumurrender ka sa Kanya, tandaan nyo po na yun pa lang ang umpisa ng laban mo.

THE BLESSINGS OF SURRENDER

1. You will experience PEACE – Job 22:21 “Stop quarreling with God! If you agree with Him, you will have a peace at last, and things will go well for you.”

2. You will experience FREEDOM – Rom. 6:17 “Offer yourselves to the ways of God and the freedom never quits .. Him commands set you free to live openly in His freedom”

3. You will experience GOD’S POWER IN YOUR LIFE – God chose Mary to be the mother of Jesus, not because she was talented or wealthy or beautiful, but because she was totally surrendered to Him.

CONCLUSION

-Tandaan po naten that, Victory comes through surrender. Surrender doesn’t weaken you, it strengthen you.

- Surrender is not the best way to live, but it is only way to live.

- Tandaan din po naten na once na sinurrender naten yung buhay naten fully sa Panginoon eto na yung simula ng laban naten Spiritually, dito na tayo susubukan ng Panginoon. Sometimes it will mean doing inconvenient, unpopular, costly, or seemingly impossible tasks. Kung minsan pa kabaligtaran sa nakasanayan nateng gawin.
