This creates fear or anxiety on the child when children should be worry free and enjoying their time being innocent and having fun. When a parent is a crisis they have to deal with their own feelings making it hard to deal with their children feelings who is also going the the crisis. This also causes a long term damage in their adult hood once they grow up because they were exposed to adult problems at a developmental time.
