when he dated other women. There’s also Barney, who brings the laughter to the show with his tactics to pick up women and leave them after a one night stand. On his idea for a long time throughout season after season that settling with one person was absurd and basically the end of his live, that is up until he starts falling in love for Robin in Season 4, after they slept together. The two other characters just brought love to the show, Lily and Marshall, when the show started they were already going out. They are college sweethearts. Later in the show they get married in season 10, and also have a baby in season 7, they name him Marvin Waitforit Eriksen.
The show emplifies various ways to the audience with logical life reasonings. Going back to the concept mentioned earlier, things happen for a reason, the actions and phrases taken by the characters connects directly to the audience with realistic situations that they can encounter. One great example that also connects with this that the audience can relate to is time. Furthermore, Ted’s experience in going through years to find his ideal wife is one way the audience is given the idea of how things happen over time even after the benefits he has received and the encounters that were not suited for him. This is where the audience gets to draw and connect to logical conclusions and understand of how and why things happen the way they do.
“How I Met Your Mother” has incorporated many characteristics that I love in a show. The amount of humor and care there is , also the characters scripts aren’t letter-by-letter, they have a say in how they say and act. The one thing that I really liked about this show was the amount of reality there was, on many levels I could connect to what happened. And how they acted. As characters I think it is very important to incorporate a bit of who you are into the role you’ll be acting. The show overall shows incorporates a lot of emotion, and the good thing is that it seems all natural. That the feelings come from they’re own person not the character. The author makes the audience feel safe and comfortable. A good TV show to kick back and relax too that’s built off humor and love.
