The Hoosier Burger has been encountering. It is capable of tracking cost, pricing, margin, and quantity so Hoosier Burger will always know where the restaurant is at pertaining to all required areas. The system will keep track of customer information and use emails for offers to these customers. Customers will be allowed to keep tabs open at the bar, add food to an existing order. The server can save checks for a later time in case anything else needs to be added and return to the check any time to make adjustments, including the options to split, merge, or transfer the check. Once the order has been entered the ticket will print back in the kitchen and the food can be prepared. The server can take an iPad directly to the table for ordering and cashing out. This feature takes care of the concerns of marketing and customer service. An added bonus is employee management. The system is capable of tracking employee’s hours at any location (ShopKeep, 2014).

Technical

The construction of the system will be the responsibility of ShopKeep. ShopKeep will ensure all material is on hand before they start installing. If any items are not in stock there is a guarantee that back orders are not taking more than one month to receive. They will provide all of the equipment necessary and any additional hardware purchased. ShopKeep will also provide training on how to operate the system with servers, as well as management and owners (ShopKeep, 2014).

Schedule

The schedule for going live with the POS System is aiming for 3 months. Installation for the system can be done in a 12 hour time period. The system will go live a week after installation giving proper training time for employees and owners. ShopKeep will schedule to come in on a Sunday night to install system to avoid interference with business operations (ShopKeep, 2014).

Legal & Contractual

There will be no legal or contractual matters as ShopKeep is responsible for all product. They do not have a contract requirement for their service. Hoosier Burgers can use it as long as they pay the monthly fee (ShopKeep, 2014).

Political

The key stakeholders are the owners, project development team, and employees. Meeting with the project management team, Bob, Thelma and management have all agreed this system will be the best for their business at the time. It is the best system economically and covers all aspects of the business (ShopKeep, 2014).
