more of them too. You may personally not feel that it would be a problem for you and that’s great, but there is someone or someone’s who need these restrictions to succeed academically. If you were in a classroom and needed help but the majority of the class understood it perfectly, does that not justify giving you the help you need to succeed in class? So if a few people can’t focus in class because of a more relaxed dress code do they not deserve to be considered just because the majority is fine without it?
Grow up and realize it’s not always fair
Although this sexism seems unfair, life is unfair. We need to grow up and face the reality that we have to respect other people’s needs as something that may counter our wants. You don’t always get what you want, and we need to learn how to take authority from our elders that know more about life then we do. At this age we all believe we know what’s best for ourselves but how could we? When we are older and independent we can make the decision on how we dress, but at this age we have not yet earned to right because we are dependent on our parents and the other adults in our life. When you graduate high school, and start a job or go to college or do whatever you decide to do, you are a legal adult and can do whatever you want and face the consequences of your actions. You can wait 4 years to wear your Kylie Jenner butt ripped pants. But right now it is not up to us. Just because we get to drive and have a job doesn’t mean we are mature and doesn’t suddenly justify us rebelling against the adults in our life that are their to guide us. Just realize that you don’t always know what’s best for yourself.
Conclusion
In conclusion we should not change the dress code due to the fact that young men and women need to learn how to respect themselves and are not as mature as they assume they are.
