Of course, there is the opposite opinion. Some people say “Bluetooth technology lets two devices communicate wirelessly with each other. It is most commonly seen in the form of hands-free ear pieces for cell phones and in wireless speaker systems. By integrating this wireless functionality into your car stereo, you can gear caller’s voices over your speakers, see incoming call information on your stereo’s display, and make or receive phone calls without touching your phone. Most importantly, you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel while talking to callers” (“How Do I Get”). However, that is a wrong idea. According to Earl Miller, who is a neuroscientist, “people cannot multitask very well, and when people say they can, they are deluding themselves. The brain is very good at deluding itself.” Miller says that we cannot concentrate on more than one thing at a time. We can shift our concentration from one thing to another thing with astounding speed. Many people think they can do attention to every task at same time, but they actually cannot. Miller said, “There are several reason the brain has to switch among tasks. One is that similar tasks compete to use the same part of the brain.” Nowadays, researchers are trying to find out more information and he details of what is going on. (“Think You're Multitasking?”)
As a result, stop using a cell phone while driving is necessary for people’s life. A cell phone is a great product that is useful for our life, but using a cell phone while driving poses threats to the safety of drivers and pedestrians. If people still use cell phones while driving, average of car accidents will increase more and more. Every human being is important, nobody wants to be a cause of another human being’s death. It does not matter if Bluetooth or other hand-free device is safe to use while driving, there is nothing out there that can replace safety of not using any sorts of device while driving. Also, people never know when, where or how an accident will occur, and their friend or family could be the one in the accident. Best way to start reducing the accident is to stop the use of cell phone or other devices, there will be no other way except to enforce greater law upon drivers in order to reduce the death or an injury of drivers and pedestrians.
