great ideas or their work is outstanding. To build a good relationship with a co-worker, let he/she know what a good job they did. It is always great and encouraging to hear things like that.
Maybe one of the most over looked ways to be happy at work is to get away from work. Feeling the need to be there all the time is unhealthy and stressful. Take a vacation. Get away and see new things. Whether it is going to the beach or an amusement park, have fun and clear your head from all things work related. Either on vacation or at home, another way to get away is to spend time with family and friends. Barbequing, snowball fights, game night, or a quiet dinner are just a few of very many things to do to get the mind away from work. Spending time with family and friends will build those relationships stronger and there is nothing like a happy comfortable family. Lastly, getting away from work does not have to involve anyone, take time to yourself and do whatever. Golf, a movie, sitting on the couch and doing nothing, does not matter, forget about the job and relax.
70 million people are going to work feeling stuck and miserable. Not just work but life can be better by making attitude adjustments, treating others the way you want to be treated and getting some rest and relaxation. Happy workers make more productive workers. More productive workers make more productive companies. And more productive companies make for a better economy. Let’s do our part and cheer up.
