Finally, while discussing the problems of urbanization, we should also consider a crucial problem, which is the work stress of people. There are two reasons that work pressure is probably caused by urbanisation. Firstly, one of the most important reasons possibly is rising living demands of people. The development of urbanisation makes that the tempo of modern society is speeding up, and the demand that people want and need to satisfy is also going up. Because of this, people have to hard work to meet their demands while the work stress is increasing. Secondly, the long term work can lead to work pressure of employees rising. Urbanisation causes the intense competition that might make people have to work long hours. For example, according to a survey, the percentage of Americans pay lots of attention on their work , and work time is about more than 50 hours per week (Boundless, 2015). But if people do not take sufficient breaks and rest, or do not enjoy their holidays, rather to work long hours, the risk might increase to his or her physical and psychological (Stress at Work, 2003).

There are some solutions for work stress. As the employers, they can organize some family activities for their employees. It is useful that giving an opportunity to the employees to relaxes themself, and it also is a good chance to improve the relationship with family, thereby, let them know the relationship of family is more important than demands. For the work pressure of work long hours, company can make policies to limit the work times of employees on average working time, such as the 48-hour week. However, for those solutions, it may be hard to implement. Because if the employer want to use the policies, they need to obtain a written agreement from workers. That means if employees disagree with the policies, the employer would not to operate the policies (Work Time, 2005).

In conclusion, it has been show that the development of urbanisation has caused many problems. As the rising of population, the resources shortage, such as food and water, has become to a serious problem, but it is can be reduced and solved. For another problem is traffic congestion, and building the excellent system of public transportation could reduce the pressure of traffic jam. In addition, urbanisation makes social competition becoming intense and the work stress also has become to a crucial problem, but employers can take measures to solve it. However, for those problems which are hard to solve, it not only need lots of costs and time, but also depends on individual intention. But if government and individual work together actively, the problems that caused by urbanisation could be solved in the future.
