Furthermore, Bogard mentions that Paris as “the famed ‘city of light’” and how "Paris has taken steps to exercise more sustainable lighting practices." By doing this, Paris is no longer “the city of light”, it becomes “the city of light... before 2 AM”. therefore, his argument shows how people takes the steps and tries to protect natural darkness.
