be more money circulating in the system. Industries will no longer fear that the only people willing to do their jobs are at risk. Law enforcers will have more men power, instead of devoting quality time searching for illegals, they will be chasing the most dangerous criminals. And with fewer patrol officers in the streets looking for undocumented immigrants more time could be devoted around the borders to stop the whooshing waves coming in. (onomatopoeia)
There is this notion of crimes being increased. Donald Trump in a recent news conference stated that immigrants, in particular, Mexicans “are murderers, killers, thieves, rapists.” But he fails miserably to notice that crime has no race, anyone can be a victim, and anyone can be the offender. This is not true the crime rate will not increase without hesitation. In an article by Scott Keyes he wrote, “immigrants are terrified to report crimes." Which means when immigrants are witnesses or victims to crimes, they don’t report them because contact with law enforcers will jeopardize their stay in the United States. Therefore, they keep quiet. Obama’s plan of creating a path to citizenship will give those people a little more protection, and more crimes will be reported. Law and Order, the famous television show, in multiple episodes shows how terrified immigrants could be. (apposition) Law and Order SVU was about a horrifying case involving illegals – here it is like the Wedded Bliss episode – showed the how scared were the illegals to talk to the police. (parenthesis)
Furthermore, Tea Partyers believe that a path to citizenship will change our identity. This motion is absurd; the United States has always been the country of everything and everyone; the United Sates has the largest mix of people from around the globe. In reality, that has always been our identity, “the melting pot”. (periphrasis) Therefore, there is no identity changing at risk. That will just reinforce our strong global bond. People who have been a part of our society for years will have the chance to claim the title of American Citizen. It Is the mixture of people all over the world that shows the uniqueness of the United States (paradox)
Although Reformation is opposed by some people, the idea that more crimes will be reported, illegal immigrants will be penalized, legal immigrants will be first in line, our border control will become stronger, our immigrant workforce will be stronger, more money flowing around in the system, is strong enough to get me aboard. (asyndeton) The reality is, continuing our way, will just repeat the cycle and the reformation will be a clean start.
