- V02 Max: The V02Max for elite adult keepers is 50.5 ± 2.7 mL O2·kg–1·min–1.(6) This was a VO2Max test was done by an incremental treadmill test. For the VO2Max field test the VO2Max for elite keepers is 56.4 ± 3.9 mL O2·kg–1·min–.(6) The elite keepers had a higher VO2Max in the field test compared to the treadmill test. This shows that the different levels of playing fields have a different demand on the body.
- Heart Rate: Guner et al conducted a modified blood lactate test, that resulted different heart rates in blood lactate concentrations of 2, 2.5, 3, and 4 mmol/L. For 2 mmol/Lthe end results were 154.95±8.88. For the 2.5 mmol/L concentration it resulted in 163.35±8.61.
