to life, playing the sounds of the ocean, waves crashing, the sound of the boat engine while the backdrop or props would show the water to the audience. Along with sound, you can catch the audience by surprise by playing the famous theme song to the shark when he is in the area and make the shark show itself when there is no music. To create visual water, the director can utilize a cloth-like material cut into the shape of waves or wavy water with a fan or a system set in place to help move the water while on set. Props would be used as the boat and the weapons the actors use to kill the shark. The boat would be behind the cloth on a rocking system showing the movement of the vessel in the water. Costumes are an important factor in this play because no actor requires any particular dress but to portray the shark, the outfit must look realistic from the movement to the action of the shark. Lightweight, breathable latex will be used for the construction of the shark to allow the actors to depict the movement of the shark. Make-up for the shark will be essential to the reality of the fish, making it seem sleek, muscular, and massive. The make-up will encompass the texture of the animal bringing it to life, and the stage will feature vertical and horizontal lines in the setup of the stage.
