Some authors try to signal a message using deep translations within their text, leaving an author confused, bored and unsatisfied. King aiming right at the core subject uses the general guideline for which Christianity is based on to tell a bigger story. One that lays in between the lines if you will. This alone is a huge symbol that has impacted my life. Trying to make sense of things and have the answer is something we all fall victim to. We are all programmed with this mission of success or failure with a right or wrong way.

This right or wrong theory is what keeps society in order but leaves so many people lost. So many others dreaming, wishing, trying to find purpose. I certainly don’t have the answer of how to run the world or what standards should be enforced over others, however, I believe everyone should be taught equal knowledge of all spectrums.

As the new age emerges, new theories, subjects, and illusions are being brought into this world every day as more and more people learn of mind over matter; simply put meditation. Finally the beginning of an age that has no boundaries, the people are finding god within themselves and the spirit is encouraging them to do so. “I am” is a term people have fought for ages. But “We Are” is an alliance of infinite knowledge. No longer do the people have to fall for the sins they think their father is holding over their heads. “We The People” is a very powerful term, and it is what we are. As they say in the East we are, “You, GOD, and the Guru”.

As King describes Gary, a normal boy with a hidden journey we can see that we are just as much like him as any other. Gary suffers for the rest of his life with this remembrance, gift of knowledge, or rebirth, however you may want to see it. As we see, he thinks about that event over and over for the rest of his life. A victim to his own mind, he chooses to suffer, whether he’s aware of it or not.

The moral I perceived from the story was that we all need to learn to let go
