Sub section 3

Improvements required to the internal and external environment

We have not only observed in this case, have came across some suggestions to overcome most of the problems which we have discovered above. For the simplicity to bring them out for you i have hereby divide the premises to two areas; ‘

Internal environment- inside the office areas

External environment – Outside of the office areas

Internal environment

We can start a new canteen to the employees where they can find healthy foods and pure water.

Installing new first aid boxes with regarding to the number of employees are working and the availability to reach quickly.

Introducing PPE to the organization with a good basic knowledge to all employees.

We can arrange resting facilities and lodge facilities to the shift workers.

We have to make sure that proper ventilation is available with all the staffs who working in confined spaces.

External environment

Organization has to have apply tar or create concrete floors as much area as can specially to the roads, by considering the cost to reduce air pollution.

Company can recruit one or two employees more to wash uniforms or we can create our own laundry facility inside the organization premises.

Sub section 4

A re-arranged, suitable benefits and services package

While searching for the potential threats and ways to overcome it, i like to mention below about current situation and the availability of benefits and service package. At a glance there are some benefits which is not suitable for us. Therefore I and my team have plan out a new benefit structure which will directly affect and boost up the performance.

Percent package-

Travelling allowances paying only for executive staff continuously.

Uniforms and lockers are provided.

Firs aid box is provided and available at HR dept.

A pint of milk is given to all the heavy vehicle drivers and machine operators.

Operational units and offices are provided drinking water

Reimbursement scheme of medical expenses when visiting the medical officer in the organization

Posters and notices about preventing hazards are available in the organization.

Incidental allowances are available

Here are some of the suggestions to improve and re arrange the benefits and services package

Company has to get the concent of employees than giving milk to all, employees has to have a chance to choose as they like.

Eg:- tea, milk or cofee

Lockers has to be relocate to a place where employees can reach easily.At least two uniforms has to be provides to all employees.

All emploees has to have a place to dine.Even we currently deviating the factories ordinance in this case.

Again as per teh factories ordinance we have to place first aid boxes within every 30 meters in the organization.

Drinking water has to be available throughot the permises

Transport shold be provided to the employees , specially who are working in night shifts.

Finaly we can create a separate helth and safety devision, with a safety manager.Throuh that we van give the relavant knowledge about OHS and the importance of PPE.
