Mythe et heroe
==========
In order to study the notion of Myths and Heroes in class, I would like to just talk about the different notion of “ Myths and Heroes” which are almost always connected to each other and linked by some words like “Legends- Modern Legend- Icons and so one .”I would like to talk about it by based on the following documents I have learned at school… Documents [….]
Myths are cultural values, it’s related to tradition or a false notion. Mostly use as an ancient stories whose authors are unknown that attempt to explain a belief, custom, or force of nature by telling of gods and goddesses and their interventions in the lives of mortals. But it sometimes more than just part of a culture because truth or lies we are still attracted to them and really want to get to know these mysterious things ; even researchers, scientifics and historians think myths are stories that make up our modern lives and sound possibly true, even though they almost never are.
Understanding the legends and myths of a particular society helps one understand and relate to that society’s culture and history. In Myths language we can relate this word to “Legend” because they are both a cultural values and beliefs of the people who generally created them…However, according to me ;Myths are stories we believe in and heroes are people who help others and symbolize moral values it is a mythological figure, character or a person who has achieved something, he has inspired people , he could be considered as an Icon, a role model or a superhero.
Those models can be a Soldier , a real character or just a movie Character, a civil rights leader like Martin Luther King , a politician like Barack Obama, a humanitarian like Mother Teresa, a philanthropist like J.k Rowling…Somehow they can turn to be even a Legend because they have made a big role in the human kind , crossed the borderline by changing the World or just say made an Impact to our today lives , then the word “Heroes” becomes “Legends”.
In another hand the word Legend is a little bit different to Modern Legend because it is a traditional story based on a historical figure, but the stories usually tend to exaggerate the powers and deeds of the hero and sometimes add supernatural elements.
