confused in the beginning, but then I understood. It was about an hour and a half until my boss had decided to close the park. We had give every guest a refund due to the power outage. Many lifeguards were very happy to go home early and not have to work. On the other hand lots of guest were very unhappy that they couldn’t stay and have fun in the park. There wasn’t much that my boss could do other than call PG&E and wait for the power to comeback on.
Last, but not least Food, America’s favorite thing besides the internet. The food industry also needs electricity to operate. On my way home from work one day I was craving French fries, and Ice cream. Two things that can kill me if I eat a lot of it. I decided to go to the McDonald’s down the street from my house. I pulled up and parked then as I get out of my car I see a sign that says “ Closed no power.” some lady had came out and told me that they were closed due to a power outage I was surprised that everything is run by electricity now.
Having an electrical power blackout for a week might start to drive people insane. It would also be very bad for business because if there’s no power there’s no customers, and no customers lead to no money. As I said electricity is something that people cannot live without, but it also shows that electricity plays a big part not only in our society, but as well as our daily lives.
