This shows how her guilt haunted her and made a long painful death. She died a long death mentally and physically. Vera made her death easy for Wargrave and helped state his plan.

Marston and Vera had completely different experiences and deaths at the island. Marston didn’t care about his death, and he didn’t have any guilt. He didn’t care. He died a quick almost painless death, he didn’t suffer mentally, he didn’t see what the rest of the others did. Vera was frightened and was scared most of the time. She suffered physically, because she had to live through all of it, and she suffered mentally because she was frightened all the time. She committed the worst crime and suffered because of it. She was the last to die because of her guilt, and her crime. Owens analysis of guilt was correct because he made Vera suffer the most. When Vera made it easy for him and killed herself, also by going insane, she proved him right. Also with Marston, he didn’t care much and died an easy death.

In conclusion, Wargrave had fun and made a perfect murder mystery for the readers. Owen executed many plans and perfectly pulled this off. One of his plans was to kill the least guilty first and the guiltiest last, and make them suffer the most. Marston and Vera are good examples because they prove, and help Wargraves plans. Marston didn’t care about his murders and got an easy almost painless death. Marston showed little guilt and didn’t suffer. Vera on the other hand, was scared most of the time. She couldn’t stop thinking about her murders and she suffered greatly. She suffered both mentally and physically, and she went crazy. When she killed herself she proved Wargraves theory right. Wargrave was smart about going into these murders and it payed off when they started going mad. Wargrave had a good analysis on guilt because how Vera and the rest of the victims acted. Wargrave pulled off a perfect murder mystery and shocked everyone who heard.
