Hawking’s hard work was paid with awards of all sorts. In 1974 Hawking was appointed to the Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Scholar. In 1975 he was awarded with the Pius XI Gold Medal for Science from Pope Paul VI. In 1978 he was awarded with an honorary doctorate from the university of Oxford. These are just to name a few. Hawking has received a total of sixteen award.

Stephen Hawking has written a total of 14 books. His first book was published in 1988 “A Brief History of Time”. Another book was “ The Grand Design” which was published in 2010. His most recent book was published in 2016 “George and The Blue Moon”-his youngest daughter Lucy and is were the authors.

Hawking has been part of or has been talked about in a total of fourteen different movies and shows. One of the movies that were made about his life was “The Theory of Everything” it was released in 2014. This movie talk about all of is trials and experiences. Hawking was part of the movie “A Brief History of Time” -which was released in 199- that was based on his first published book.

Stephen Hawking was the leader I chose because despite his disabilities he has been able to do so much for the science world. He is an inspiration to me because of his bravery. He had only a couple of years to live but he was not going to let that be the limit. I would consider Stephen Hawking to be an emergent leader because he has the power to lead and when he was in school he was the one who would encourage his friends to continue learning. I learned that Disabilities is not the limit.
