- Dominant business position
Costa is one of the world’s largest cruise operators, with 250 destinations and branches in 14 different countries
- Market leaders
We are such a large company that we have significant cost advantage over most of the competitors
- Strong brand recognition:
Association with Carnival Corporation &plc, the largest company in the world, building up a serious reputation
6.2: Weaknesses
- Non-governmentalSince it is a Non-governmental Organisation it does not take or get any kind of help or support from the government that is Tibaz has to fend itself. Due to this, many state schools do not welcome Tibaz in their premises for seminars or presentations.
- Only 4 members manage TibazThe fact that there is only 4 people working and managing Tibaz, is definitely considered as a weakness. Those people have been specialized in different fields but had there been more members like someone to handle the legal aspect or someone to handle the branding and design stuffs, it would have been a plus. Plus it is not evident for only 4 members to go all around Mauritius to work with people or promote Tibaz. Additional help is always an advantage.
- Not enough PublicitySince it is a newly set organization, many people are still unaware about Tibaz and its activities. Enough Publicity has not been done for a number of reasons like finance, few members to name a few.
- Financial SupportTibaz depend wholly on the MCB forward foundation when comes to its financial support and it has no other body to finance Tibaz in terms of logistics
- External Environment Analysis
7.1: Opportunities
- NetworkingClass Presentation at CTI has allowed Tibaz to reach quite a number of motivated youngsters who will do the word of mouth. Some students even thought of doing their internship there or volunteer for Tibaz. Similarly going to different Universities will reach many students. By so, whenever Tibaz will be organizing an event, the management has to get in touch with the contacts build who in turn will try to spread the word.
- AIESEC
As AIESEC is a non-governmental organization as well run by the youth for the youth so they can collaborate and work in hand for the different AIESEC projects available such as Women Empowerment, IT4ALL,Choose Life Not drugs and Unheards. Tibaz has to meet the Local Committee President and put forward what Tibaz does and in turn AIESEC will make Tibaz one of their partners and when Interns will come to work on the projects, they can take training from Tibaz and in turn go to grassroots level and start the work which would include campaigns, sensitization programs and stuffs for a minimum period of 6 weeks. The advantage is that previously a team of AIESECers visit Tibaz so they meaning they are interested in what it does.
- Increasing trends
