Significance of the Study
The present study will benefit the following:
To the students. They can understand the significance and values of studying Mathematics. As a student, they will have to explore more to gain more knowledge about Mathematics.
To the teachers. They can develop their skills in educating their students on the different concepts of Mathematics to elaborate the meanings and uses of each word.
To the common people. They will learn the uses of Mathematics that even in their works

Mathematics is there. They will know the values and significance of Mathematics when doing work in the job.
Definition of Terms
The following terms are being defined in order for reader to better understand the study:
- Mathematics – the study of relationships among numbers, shapes, and quantities.
- Theorems – a proposition or a formula in Mathematics or logic that is provable from a set of axioms and basic assumption.
- Postulates – a statement that is assumed to be true but has not been proven and that is taken as the basis for a theory, line of reasoning, or a hypothesis.
- Equations – a mathematical statement that two expressions, usually divided by an equal sign, are of the same value.
Scope and Delimitation of the Study
This study is focused on the significance and values of Mathematics to common people. It is limited on the availability of the reference persons and the resource materials in the internet.

DATA PRESENTATION
Study of Mathematics
Mathematics reveals hidden patterns that help us understand the world around us. Now much more than arithmetic and geometry, Mathematics today is a diverse discipline that with data, measurements, and observations from science; with interface, deduction, and proof; and with mathematical models of natural phenomena of human behaviour, and of social systems (Duke Mathematics).
The earliest records of advanced, organized Mathematics date back to the ancient Mesopotamian country of Babylonia and Egypt of the 3rd millennium BC. There Mathematics was dominated by arithmetic, with an emphasis on measurements and calculation in geometry and with no trace of later mathematical concepts such as axioms or proof.
The earliest texts composed about 1800 BC, reveal a decimal numeration system with separate symbols for the successive powers of 10, just as in the system used by the Romans. Numbers were presented by writing down the symbol of 1, 10, and 100 and so on as many times as the unit was in a given number.
Mathematics as a study of relationships among quantities, magnitudes, and properties and for logical operations by which unknown quantities, magnitudes and properties may be deduced. In the past, Mathematics was regarded as a science of quantity, whether of magnitudes, as in geometry, or of numbers as in arithmetic, or of the generalization of these two fields, as in algebra.
Mathematics came to be regarded increasingly as the science of relations, or as the science that draws necessary conclusions. This latter view encompasses mathematical or symbolic logic, the science of using symbols to provide exact theory of logical deduction and inference based on definitions, axioms, postulates, and rules for combining and transforming primitive elements into more complex relations and theorems.
Mathematics provides students with an exclusively highly effectively set of resources to understand and change the globe (Busiri Jr.). The resources include sensible thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the capability to think in subjective ways.
Significance of Mathematics
Pure math in its original form is the logical ideas in poetical style (Albert Einstein). This is one of his lampoons, but profound thoughts, which is identically relevant, even at this present era. As he laid stress about the math subject through all his works, math forms an essential and integral part of modern technologies ranging from complicated computer networks to robotic surgical operations. That is the reason all the international mathematical scholars feel that the students should be taught the subject, in the most appropriate way.
One of the extensive significance of Mathematics is Arithmetic, and the way in which it is improving at an amazing rate. Arithmetic is about routine and structure; it is about sensible research, reduction, computation within these styles and components. When styles are found, often in commonly different areas of technological innovation, the mathematics of these styles can be used to describe and control natural events and circumstances. Arithmetic has a persistent impact on our life, and plays a role in the prosperity of the individual. Arithmetic is used to make the

complex development at the heart of all processing.
Mathematics led to the perfect percentages proven in Rebirth artwork. The research of astronomy in the beginning times of its beginning required the development of our knowing of mathematics and created possible such understandings as the size of the world, our range from the sun, the fact that we center around it, and other findings that permitted us to move ahead in our body of knowledge without which we would not have any of our modern wonders of technological innovation.
The significance of mathematics is two-fold, it is essential in the progression of technological innovation and two, it is essential in our knowing of the technicalities of the galaxy.Values of Mathematics
Mathematics has values which determine the need of teaching it to the students. Mathematics has great practical value, cultural value which is steadily increasing
