2: Internal team conflicts therefore not a cohesive team with a common goal
i. Meet all teams in smaller groups in addition to the weekly companywide meetings and clearly define short terms goals. Also, give employees a chance to express their issues and come up with solutions together. This would be time consuming but help Erik to get to know the employees, build trust and stay upto date with the project progress.
ii. Facilitate public recognition of achievements to boost morale and to cultivate healthy competition. This is a long term solution and will not bear immediate results.
4. Recommendations
After deeply analyzing all the issues and the possible solutions, I would strongly recommend Erik Peterson to realize his limitations and reach out to the senior management and team for help.

Only when all the departments and teams join forces, will it be possible to achieve the ambitious goal of launching Biometra’s first product on April 1st. First recommendation would be to increase the inter-team communications in smaller group settings. He can use these meetings to communicate and reiterate the goal and objectives for the launch and encourage and inspire them to achieve the same. He can also hear about their problems, discuss solutions together and give recommendations. With increased communication, the employees will gain trust and faith in Eric. Urgent meeting with Scott Green, Karen Cantor and the Costa Rica manufacturer is key as they all need to be aware of the manufacturing issues and how the negotiation conversations with KOLs need to be handled. He should also ask Scott and Karen for their support as they are more experienced than him and their advice will be beneficial. Post all the internal communication and inputs, Erik should prepare a detailed project report highlighting major issues and recommendations and present it to Hardy. He should make Hardy realise that they are on the same team. And that a successful launch would mean success for Hardy as well. Erik should convince him that Jenkins needs to be involved and his professional advice is very critical. Together as a team, they can update Jenkins about the current status of the project. As Jenkins has the maximum experience in this industry and with product launches, he will be able to guide them and help them tackle the issues.
