From the experience on the programme so far, there are many factors that are acknowledge on the effectiveness of the decision made. As Cardiff Business School, provides a year course of Masters, could save the time and get back to my family business. By opting USA as location for studies, it could consume two years to complete my Masters studies. While talking about Infrastructure, Cardiff University is a vast university and the huge libraries, with a wide range of collections of books from various fields and the spacious lecture halls, would interest any student in exploring the subjects.

The faculties in the University are very friendly and so communicative with students, when problem a raised, the respected faculty would resolve the issues. To illustrate, I had issues with understanding a topic in operational analysis subject, the faculty assisted with the issue until the concept was understood and made it interesting for me to solve more problems in that particular topic. Regular studies and revisions would help any student accomplish their goals set in each subjects. The University also conducts tutorials every week, which would help me understand the concepts and subject better, for example, every tutorial would be conducted with case studies and asked every individual to adapt the lecture notes in practical and solve the problems in the case studies. By conducting tutorials every week, makes every student’s life helpful.

Another aspect to be mentioned is the Student Union, which provides every possible information to the students, conducts various events which would bring diverse culture of students together and encourage students to take part in various events.

Thus, I would like to conclude the essay by saying, increasing effectiveness in decision making is an important part of maximizing one’s effectiveness at work. A well-defined step by step approach decision making model, it helps decision makers to deal with difficult problems in a complex environment. If, there was any fault in the decision made, one must revisit the decision and then do. But otherwise, accept the decision and move on at work facing all the challenges occurred.
