The training was offered by each branch Web based training (role specific). In order to make the changes stick the training requirements are a continuum throughout the whole bank. Some challenges surfaced that were unexpected. Firstly, there were computer system issues resulting from having too many people using the system. The servers malfunctioned in keeping up with the higher demand. There was also legal legislation that hindered the progression of the new system. These legal issues needed to be addressed and dealt with, and the representatives were required to know the new disclosures and policies.

The measurement used in this process of change was researching methods such as collected data obtained from scales questionnaires and surveys, as well as they, tracked the number of applications- closings and time frame.

In summary, George feels that he played a part in the collaboration of change in his organization. He attributes it being a successful endeavor because of everyone pulling together, and having a clear idea of their role in implementing this change. As I reflect back over the interview I think both how things were changed and what was changed was of equal importance. I think having the ability to understand and discern the need for change is important in leading an organization as it can differentiate having the ability to succeed or not. I think the reasons for the change in this scenario are valid and necessary. The process in which this change is carried out is also important as it ensures that it is done right and that it sticks.
