The five core values of the Toyota way are:

- Genchi Genbutsu

Genchi Genbutsu means “go and see”. It suggests that the best way to make sure a production line is working at maximum efficiency is to go and see it for yourself. Genchi Genbutsu also suggests that the best practice is to go and see the location or process where the problem exists in order to solve that problem more quickly and efficiently.

Genchi Genbutsu is important because Toyota production system is complex and requires a high level of management presence on the factory floor. With Genchi Genbutsu value, if a problem exists in the factory, employees would go and see the problem, confirming the facts, analyze the root causes, making sure the problem is correctly understood before solving the problem.

- Kaizen

Kaizen means “continuous improvement”. Toyota believed that no process can ever be declared perfect but it can always be improved. Kaizen empower individual members to identify areas for improvement and suggest practical solutions. It is the responsibility of each member to adopt the improved standardized procedure and eliminate waste from within the local environment. With Kaizen, Toyota always innovates to meet requirements and increases productivity in a continuous cycle.

Kaizen is the heart of the Toyota Production System, and it also empowers Toyota’s “always a better way” slogan.

- Meet all challenges

Toyota aims to maintain a long term vision and meet all challenges with the courage and creativity needed to realize that vision. To realize Toyota‘s vision, Toyota has efficient marketing, after sales service and showrooms in many countries.

- Stimulates employees growth

Toyota stimulates personal and professional growth, shares opportunities for development and maximize individual and team performance. Toyota supports the individual and teamwork growth by providing training programs and education network. The training program enhances the employees technical skills, while the education network includes programs such as instructional course materials, etc.

- Respect

Toyota respects others, makes every effort to understand others, accepts responsibility, and does it best to build mutual trust. These mutual trust formed lots of partnerships for Toyota which are advantegous for them. Some of the notable partners of Toyota are

Company Objective

The clear objectives of the organization derived from the mission and vision statement of the organization. The leadership has different short term and long term objectives for the growth of the organization. The corporate goals can be divided in small business objectives and communicate to the employees of the organization for better understanding. The communication process is very important to understand the objectives and implement different strategies to achieve the specific objectives. The objective should be realistic and achievable in certain time frame. Toyota Corporation has objectives to improve quality and services in automobile industry. They also improve the manufacturing techniques and processes and enhance their competitive advantages so that they able to achieve their objectives through effective implementation and evolution.[8]

After massive product recalls in 2009-2010 caused Toyota to fall behind GM in U.S. sales, Toyota Company wants to restore its top position through advanced information processing, safety, energy efficiency and cutting-edge scientific advances. Toyota started in 1960 with one lab in Nagoya City, Japan. Since then, the company has expanded into 41 technological collaborations and contractor companies, including Daihatsu Motor Company, Hino Motors, Kanto Auto Works and Toyoda Gosei.

Advanced Information Processing

Toyota's stated emphasis on engineering and electronics is to provide future Toyota vehicles with the most advanced information processing, from multifunctional high-speed digital mobile communications and power control devices for electric vehicles to sensors for advanced vehicle control. Future Toyotas will have voice-activated GPS, cell phone and emergency communication systems.

Toyota Safety

Toyota's research-related safety objectives are just as concerned with human operators of vehicles as the vehicles themselves. The company calls these objectives "preventive technology," attempting to promote a safer coexistence of cars and people. In addition to sensors that react to driver exhaustion and other causes of inattention, Toyota's research team is working on safety systems that respond to developing dangers around a vehicle, such as wind, water and oncoming traffic.

Energy Efficiency

Toyota developed its semiconductor power device technology for the Prius, the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle in the world. The company continues to research fuel economy and cleaner emissions, hoping to develop new engine combustion methods and catalysts for fuel exhaust. But the real future in energy efficiency, according to Toyota's research objectives, is in the development of alternative fuel sources, such as secondary batteries and solar cells.

Scientific Advances

Toyota's research objectives include a five-year plan described by Motor Trend as "unusually exciting concepts." On the world market, they have more diesel, hybrid and electric models to come.
