Our small business is a karaoke café of which we provide a wide variety of main courses, entrées, desserts and beverages. From an entertainment perspective we also offer karaoke which is available to keep our customers amused and interested while also enjoyed a nice meal for exceptional prices.

The menu that was given to you shows our pricing is both competitive and psychological pricing. Psychological pricing relates to a business’ awareness of how customers perceive the quality of their products when they see the price. It is when the cost of the product is decreased to below the standard price and our business has done this. Competitive pricing is charging prices at, or just below those who are in direct competition with in the business. Our business has also competed this because by lowering our prices to just below our competition this means more customers and a higher income.

Promotion: Tom

The promotion techniques and methods used to market and advertise the Karaoke Café are billboards and TV advertisement. These methods were chosen because billboards are often located in major cities and the Karaoke Café is located near Brisbane which has considerable size and TV advertisement is one of the most effective type of advertising. Almost everyone in Australia has a television making the advertisement on TV the most productive and successful.

Place: Jaise

The Karaoke Café is located in the popular suburb, Tarragindi. This location was chosen because it is a midpoint between the city and the southern suburbs of Brisbane.
