Being in the empty streets of Brazil they met Cristal, a drug dealer with a luxurious car and who puts them to traffic drugs in Rio de Janeiro. Then they also meet Sueli, a worn prostitute with whom they associate to bring customers and then rob them. Until one day everything went wrong and without realizing it Pixote kills its friend and the customer of Sueli to whom they were going to rob it.

After all this event Pixote realizes that everything he has done in life is wrong and again Pixote is left alone and helpless in the streets of Brazil.

These two films for me are very similar, first the two were based on the poverty that is lived in Brazil at that time and as the two children had to mature prematurely by the situations that they had to lived. Also, the lack of a family that gave support in the most tough times. In the case of Central Station, Josue needed a family to receive him after his mother died. And in the case of Pixote, a family that will teach you the good and sad things of life. I think that the only difference between these two films was that in Central Station there was a show of love, solidarity and compassion for the orphan child.

To conclude, these films are a sample of how the lack of a family, lack of support, and the main factor poverty can affect the development of a child or rather in a person in general. The films show how people's humanity can build bonds. These movies had a gentle touch, and insights into what makes us tick as human beings when faced by adversity.
