Socrates Today.

I think if Socrates were asked what his definition of wisdom was, he would say: the knowledge of the Gods, for he believed that the real wisdom belonged to them. Socrates said the only reason why Delphi said he was the wisest person was because he was an example of a person who realizes that human wisdom is worthless. He only acknowledged being the wisest person because he was aware of his own ignorance. I have come to agree with Socrates in saying that those who boast usually know very little. People sometimes enjoy watching others who think they are wise being proven otherwise. At times it can be humorous and the reason why many people watched Socrates and came to their own conclusions about him. However, when he proved that someone does not know something, the crowd assumed that Socrates did, and therefore they drew false opinions of him.
