Jesus the whole time. Every so often in his conversation he would talk real low and fast. It was like he was holdin another conversation with someone else. You could not get a word in. He was in a continuous, ongoning conversation.

Two other patients was very loud with singing and talking to each other and whoever else would talk to them. One of therm ask another student to sit and talk with him. Once she sat and started talking to them, they calmed down and held descent conversations. It was as if they did all the loud talking, and singing to get attention. They seem to really enjory someone talking to them and not treating them like a patient. Their conversation was very imformative and not all the off the wall talking like minutes prior.

I experience a young man talking with his mom on the phone. He was not able to hold her a descent conversation. Nothing he said made any since. I could not imagine how his mom must have felt. It has to be hard to know that your child is sick and you can not help them. So many time we as parents blame ourself because the signs were there but we paid no attention to them. It is also a proven fact that many mental disorders are not detected early due to the person keep quiet about the things they are experiencing.

As we observed and talked with the patient one thing I notice was many of the patient was very educated, very intelligent. When I got home, I got my mental book and begin to read it. I wanted to understand the differnt behavior disorders. I was able to put some of them with the patients we met at the hospital. It makes me sad to think that we as human can judge someone so quit and not even know what a person is really going through. We want to always say someone is putting on when in reality we do not know. The patient do not knw what is going on. They are probably dealing with a stuggle every day. Especially if they had a normal life at one.

When i left the hospital, I begin to look at my own life. I begin to thank God for my health and strength. I thank for my kids health and strength and pray that they contue to stay healthy. After my visit to Rusk, I just can not thank him enough. I am tru;y blessed in more ways than one.
